Always Take a Trip the Bathroom Before a Run

A full bladder can make every step agonising. Even if you don’t think you need to go, its worth a try. It is totally normal to notice an increased need to pee during these first few weeks of pregnancy, and beyond. The NHS says:

Invest in a Good Sports Bra

Look out for new sports bras becoming available on our website!

Stay Cool

Take a drink with you, and wear removable layers; you may find you overheat more than you normally would during this stage of your pregnancy. Check out our efficient metallic fold up water bottles in the Shop.

The NHS says:
“You’re likely to feel warmer than usual during pregnancy. This is due to hormonal changes and an increase in blood supply to the skin. You’re also likely to sweat more.”

I hope you have found my experience useful, and that my blog inspires RUNNER MUMMIES TO BE to continue to do the thing they love, safely throughout their pregnancies.

BE SAFE, BE SEEN, BE CONFIDENT.

Look out for my next blog which will cover the official launch of RUN WITH YOUR BUN at my local 10k Park Race…
