Over the past few weeks, I have been fortunate enough to be invited to attend two great community events. I’m please to say it was a great success setting up my stand as a Zumbini Instructor.
In fact, I’m always looking for an excuse to shout about the wonders of ZUMBINI. However, the two community events I was asked to attend this month have great purpose.
By Your Side
On Sunday 12th May, a fantastic local charity called By Your Side – Holding your hand through perinatal mental illness, organised a walk in aid of Mental Health Awareness Week. A number of local companies made up an events village, with lots of fun family activities. As well as Zumbini with Laura, stalls included; Aqua Babies, Rugby Tots, Shakespuss, Drama tots and many more…
What a great day we all had raising money for charity, and raising awareness about perinatal mental illness. It was great to get out there and tell everyone about the benefits to you, and your child, of attending Zumbini with Laura.
Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs there is, so why not engage in activities like ZUMBINI, getting you out and about socialising and bonding with your baby.
I would like to say a huge thanks to Leanne Howlett, the Founder of By Your Side for inviting me. What an inspiring hard working lady, and mummy.
Early Years in the City
On Saturday 18th May, I attended the EARLY YEARS IN THE CITY SHOWCASE at the Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry. When I enquired about the event, the organiser Lisa Ford, was keen to learn more about the latest music, movement and singing classes that are Zumbini with Laura.
What a fantastic day meeting parents, grandparents, and fellow early years instructors from around the city. We had the ZUMBINI KALINO tunes banging out of the beat box. Much like zumba, children and adults alike could not help but move to the beat, and get their groove on.
I am very much looking forward to setting up my Zumbini with Laura classes in and around Coventry city this summer!!
